It's too damn good!
Every question I've ever thought of asking has already been answered somewhere. A quick search and hey-presto... the answer appears before my eyes!
However...
I think I may have one that I can't find the answer to. I currently have a Stryker 1128 MGS on the work bench and I'm having some difficulty locating the correct colours for the Jerry cans. The first comes with the ever useful FS number (33531) which is described as yellow, and that's fine. The second however is labelled simply as Khaki. There are loads of different shades available. Any suggestions as to which I should go with?
I'm using Vallejo model air paints by the way.
Keep up the good work folks!

Hey man,
second that...
as for the jerry cans, the water cans shouldn't be yellow but buff or dark grey (almost black)... I think vallejo iraqi sand or a mix of ivory and black would work just fine, the fuel cans are od, I'm using a 40/60 (or so) mix of buff and olive drab (both tamiya) for that. just check out what comes close to those colors within the vallejo range... (tamiya buff is pretty close to vallejo iraqi sand) here's how it should look (the three cans on the left):
Cheers, Max

Gwitts I suggest you start another thread with your question in the title, such as "help needed with Stryker 1128 MGS". I say that because the person with the knowledge you seek may not look at this thread as there is nothing to indicate it is asking for information on a specific vehicle.

The color for the fuel cans is closer to a brown drab color. I find Testors Model Master Field Drab to be a good match.
Fuel can:
Water can come in 3 colors: sand, black, and dark green. The dark green used to be less common, but I have been seeing them more often recently.

Thanks for the advise Max & Gino... I shall have a play around with the colour suggestions and see which one I like the best.
I guess a sense of humour is not alway seen as such!
