After weeks of trying to track this kit down, I had one fall into my lap for the princely sume of $15 yesterday. Color me very jazzed!!!!!!! Now I just have to decide whether or not to build it as intended or sci fi it (in either case the next step is tracking down AM/PE).

Well done on the bargain Matthew!!!
I freely admit I'm biased, but I wouldn't sci-fi the kit - they're getting rare and I'd consider it sacrilege
There's a PE set available from Eduard, tracks by either Friul or ModellKasten - the latter are usually more accurate, but it's a bit six of one, half a dozen of the other IMHO. Jordi Rubio do barrels and if you send me a PM with your email address I can provide you with a ton of reference material.
Cheers,
Dierk

The tracks fit well if you don't mind gluing them. I had both runs done in a little over three hours.
