Hey I was wondering how they use to put packs and stuff on the turret of a tank. I am working on a sherman and the box art just seems to have it magicaly susspended on the turret. Did they use hooks or what. Thanks

Hey Matrix,

What, you do not know the magical means of instant stowage? #:-)

Realy, packs were tied down tot he turrets, sides and whereever by any means. And this was both sides. The Shermans did not have some lovely handles such as the Russians T-34's, but just take a look at the turrt, grab a scale pack (with straps) and then place in an area where the straps can tie to an object or attach a rope form one point to another and drape the packs to this.

The tank pictured on the box used magnets. The crew threw a few magnets in each pack and stuck 'em to the turret..... (kidding - of course)

Just cut a slice of foil (I use yogurt container tops), and make a strap that holds the pack to the turret.
