And the progress so far.

This weekend's progress on the 8t.

DML missed the air lines at the rear of the air tanks, so I scratched some from sprue and rod.

I also started work on the front and rear wheels.

Darren

Great to see, and I will be following with avid interest as I have one about ready to start.

Regards

Thanx Rob.

It really is a nice kit. Ok so last nites work on the 8t. I've added the winch pulley and added the tow cable. The winch pully I've left in the Red primer as I think it contrasts nicely with the Panzer Grau.

Here you can see I have painted the air lines. I think they look ok.

Ok so tonight's progress on the 8t. I've weathered the chassis to depict a vehicle on the Eastern Front during the winter of 1941/42. I think it looks great. I'm installing the running gear as I go so that it gets weathered in situ too. This I think makes it more realistic.

I also added the PE flanges to the sprocket wheels.

Here's a catch up of the work done so far on the 8t.

As you can see one side is nearly done.

And as the treads were drying I started on the bodywork of the vehicle.

The treads are done. And I started to put some colour on the body work.

Sorry there have been no updates but real life got in the way. And I haven't been at the bench. But that has now changed. And here is where I am at the moment on the 8t.

This looks very good. For your next photos, could you get a little more light in the exposure?

Your weathering looks great but it is really hard to see some of the detail. Thanks a bunch for posting.
