CMD has issued 2 different turrets for the Tamiya kit ("early" and "late") : what would be the one to use for an Iraqi T-62 ? Any feedback would also be gratefully accepted (as usual...)
TIA

I do not have access to the CMD turrets, but they should be for the T-62 with the "flush" gunners hatch (early) and the "built-up" gunners hatch (late). Both saw service with Iraq.

Hey Frenchy,

Jacques is corret! The Iraqi's took possesion of many post-use T-62's. As such, the Iraqi's would have booth. Just take your pick.

Thanks to you two for your replies. Now I'll just have to toss up to decide which turret to buy (unless I manage to get some extra money from the One who holds the purse strings ...and buy both sets)

oh, and for a shameless plug, SP Designs also makes a series of the T-62 turrets, correct hull plates, and even the sideskirts for the T-62M series.

Look here: http://members.tripod.com/saammodels/companies/SP_Designs/conversions/index.htm
