Marcus,
I'm intrigued at the camo scheme for you model. Where did you find the reference for it? Also, if you can wait a month or two, I send you a set of DML T-34 links. They are non-workable, but they look a whole lot better than the rubber bands that came in the Zvezda box. Great job. What part of SP are you in?
Regards,
Georg

Georg,

no references, just assumptions based on available data.

I didn´t even planned it,the sand color got too oversprayed (see the pics, awful airbrushing),then I decided in the bench to 'contour´ it with black, and I really liked the resulting camo...

Thank you very very much for your kindness concerning the tracks.

If you really don´t mind,I would greatly appreciate them, but for another project (as I got already another set of tracks for this STZ Frankenstein).

Thank you!

I am living in São José dos Campos,São Paulo state,80km from the capital,São Paulo city.

I look forward to any messages in the Inbox.

All the best,

Marcus

Aqueous varnish applied as to seal the wash, and then a XF-64 heavy diluted filter, away from the kit (to increase effect,it was a matter of closing in the airbrush):

Some pencil marks here and there, and now it is time to a flat varnish and then pastels.

Thanks for visiting,

Last steps towards finishing it,the substitute tracks were bonded to the wheels thanks to Super Bonder (cyanoacrilat) and left to cure for a whole day:

The beginning of the weathering process with mud, thanks to a mixture of water, white glue, alcohol and pastels, applied with an old brush:

Outside pictures as to check the 'mudding':

The spreaded mud was made by placing the saturated brush near the hull and blowing air in the desired direction (well, that i seasier said than done, for there was 'mud' up to the turret in the end...oopss...a moisted rag solved the excess mud problem...).

After some corrections here and there in teh mud, some extra weathering with a pencil and dots of XF-69 NATO Black and pastels, here it is finished:

Hope you guys enjoy, thanks a lot for all visits and comments.

Marcus
