Hi there I am working on Dragons Sherman II El Alamain and needs help on some colours.
I have painted the vehicle in desert pink and black-blue camouflage colours.
What colours ( Humbrol ) should I choose for the Jerry can, Water can, tools ect ?
Please help me since I am new in WW2 modeling. I normally build Cold War armor.

Things like ammo cans, water cans, jerry cans, etc would have been painted in the theater base color. For El Alamein, that could be either light stone or desert pink as desert pink has just recently been introduced and wasn't available in huge quantities yet.

The tools were taken off while the Brits repainted the Shermans, so they would have been as delivered by the US. This means either in Olive Drab, or natural wood/metal.

I do not. I'm actually building a Sherman II from El Alamein as well (although using the Tasca kit), and have been doing some research over the past couple weeks. The color information is from Mike Starmer, who has written a few books on the topic.
