Hi, im doing a build of a Sgt York and i wanted to do a Gulf War 1 vechical. Its a what if build but i would like it to be a bit accurate. Is there a good book i can get with markings for gulf war tanks.

Is there any decal sets that i can get for this time period. I searched a bit and no luck.

Thanks Bill

Howdy Bill, there are plenty of picture books(Concord) out there to get some idea of markings. Also look at some other kit instructions for different vehicles such as the Bradley. Or google "Desert Storm Tank Pictures". Sounds like a good "what if" piece waiting to go off.
Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Tamiya has released a "Gulf Operations" decal sheet (#66518)

Verlinden had released some dry transfers for GW1 as well, but I guess it's long OOP...

Talking about plausible unit markings, maybe you could draw some inspiration from this M163 VADS at the NTC...
