I was wondering if anyone knew how to mix regular paint to get military colors Ex. like i could mix white and ____ to get desert yellow. if you are having trouble figuring out with i am trying to ask just tell me.

Hey Nick,

Just a thought here for you regarding trying to spend umpteen hours matching FS colors.

First, you are making something in scale. hence, the colors will change a bit with the reduction of the 1:1 real color.

Next, and while I was not a tanker, I grew up on military air bases, once a tank or vehicle is painted, it gets dirty,. scratched, spilled on, poured on, repainted, re-dirtied, etc. Hence, if you get Chris "Panzer" Mrosko's painting book: Panzer's Tactics, Armor Paint & Weather Techniqes , you will find the means to mix some basic acrylic colors for a very nice looking vehicle.
