It would have been nice if that Big amphibious rig was by AFV (plastic) and not resin by Hobby Fan.

Let's hope they keep their promises

Thanks for that link, Erik... you can see pics of HobbyBoss's GMC + Bofors... looks good.

Sean,
Something to do with reflective lens coatings.
It states for US M1A1 but the turret pictured looks like a late model Leo.

Tom

edit:
That Valentine crew looks interesting.
Could these be made into a post D Day tank crew?

On closer inspection this looks like that they have two releases, one for the M1A1 and one for the Leo.

do we really need another late Tiger?, now, if it were a Mid w/Zimm or Early from Dragon it would have been great news.

Jim.....as we all say.....show me!

What they finally put out is great but..... the bovine scatology of their announcements and the metal anguish as you wait years for it to come makes the final arrival a non event.

That would just be perfect! It took them from 4 Jul to get the LVT out on the shelf. So, it would follow, 10 or so years waiting . Show up as a a nice Olive Drab Christmas present. Add this to Dragon's Quad .to and we have ADA in Viet Nam well represented

I hate to say this, but i've got doubts the Duster will appear much before february 2012. I've been checking the on-line stores and it isn't getting listed yet...

Bummer, I guess I'll still add it to my stocking stuffer list just in case. I do have the Tamiya kit (and have built many of them) so I guess if I start on it it will come sooner?

Is that how it works?

I'm in no hurry. I'm just happy to see some actual sprue shots. The Duster and Chafee are definitely on my radar. Thanks for posting. "Q"

If I didn't already have the resin one from Hobby Fan, I'd be pretty stoked about the M41. I guess I'll just be excited about the M42 instead. Too bad I sold all of my resin ammo and boxes for it when I sold the old Tamiya kit,.

Great to see news like this !

The Duster is so overdue - but so so welcome ! I never built the old Tamiya version - and thank goodness I dont ever have to now.

I can wait for that Feb date - after blowing serious amount of wedge on the Hobbyboss Het.

I cant believe the amount of releases coming out at the moment - of the non german second world war stuff - dont get me wrong I love all that stuff also. (thanks dragon)

But this is a seriously good time for - cold war builder (thanks Trumpeter) gulf war (thanks Bronco) modern (thanks hobbyboss) vietnam (thanks AFV club) and errr a stack of modern Chinese subjects and errr weirdly obscure finnish WWii (thanks Tamiya)

cheers
Mark
