Hey ya guys ,,, ok i was doing my normal hunting of pics today for my files and i came across this beast ...I am pretty sure that its sitting on a T-55 chassis or possible maybe T-62 but that turret is news to me .. any help here from the sneaky buggers who find out all sorts of stuff ie Frenchy would be great ,, heres what it looks like

Oh this one aint it but its hell funny and if it fired it would bury itself

Hi Phill

I guess that's just some wise guy with Photoshop and too much time on his hand

But pics #2 and #3 are based on the 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV prototype picture below. It's a 2S19 chassis with modified turret, fitted with an over-and-under dual autoloaded 152mm howitzer.

Here's a video on Youtube

Phill

I'm 100 % sure the first picture is a fake : just look at the missile pods (maybe from a SA-9 Gaskin...) or the guns tips to be convinced too

I'll see what I can find about the turret it's based on....Anyway I agree it could be a good what-if project...

Ya i agree with ya on those missile pods ..they look like they are just bolted onto the turret ,,the guns i have no idea about ..they aint 30mm thats for sure ,gotta be 20 or maybe 25mm but not bigger ..its real but not real if ya know what i mean .someones idea of a new AA turret ,even tho it could be fake as in not in production or testing its a real turret ..its paint matches the tanks hull perfectly,,well to my eyes anyway lol
Hell i've got a few T-55 hulls knocking around ,,this is think will have to be built matey ,,another project is on the crads Frenchy mate .

That over under howitzer would be great for skeet shooting using surplus helicopters.

Photoshop Fake ~ note the lack of shadows to the lower right where the shadow of the hull is. There should be shadow from at least the missile (?) launchers, but all you see is straight shadow from the hull. You can even see how the shadow matches the "box" on the foward fender. The T-55 hull migh not even have a turret in the original photo.

not to mention, the location of the sun. it seems to be somewhere around noon. but, about an hour or so off. the sun would be on the far side of the vehicle. they made an attempt to shadow the underside of the fake launchers but didnt take into account the location of the sun. there is too much sunlight showing on the side of the launchers. and of course, the lack of shadow on the ground. the launcher would clearly be visible on ground shadow.

the other two photos are fake as well. if you look at the picture that frenchy put up, the fake photos are the same except they are mirrored to be the opposite direction. if you not in front of the tracks, there is a set of weeds that is identical to the real photo that frenchy put up.
