Hello everybody !
I'm a French modeler and i just arrived in armorama !
I mainly build US modern vehicles and WWII german vehicles.
I will present one of my latest building, the Bronco M1114 with CROWS Rws , made by Blast Models.
The model was built OOTB except the Rws. I add some accessories, like backpack, rifles, water bottles, rations boxes, coolers ... from Trumpeter, accessories provided by Bronco or plastic card !
As a measure of building and my searching, I realized that no M1114 with this armor kit has received a CROWS ... Never mind !
Firstly, I detailed the interior of the humvee, by adding wires, cables, ducts ... and the remote system for the CROWS (scratch built)
I painted and weathered the interior before gluing the roof and the door. I painted the interior with NATO green, and used "gulf war sand" Mig pigments.
For the exterior, I used a mix of (tamiya) Xf-59, Xf-60 and Xf-57. And later, classical : filter, wash, and the same pigments like the interior. For the mud, I mixed the pigment with acrylic medium, from Vallejo, and I use a picture like reference.
I hope you like it !
Mud reference picture
Enjoy !

Though I do believe this is the older XM101 CROWS, while your model has the XM153 CROWS II.

Romain - welcome to the Armorama
Great Humvee, I like weathering very much, expecially exterior. And of course accessories are adding much life to Your model.
I've got two qeuestions:
1) are there ANY interior CROWS elements included in Blast Models' set? Or are they scratchbuilded at all?
2) have You got any references for cables connections of CROWS?

As with Kuba, I too am curious as to what you used as reference for the CROWS interior.

I make a mistake, I use the CROWS II, and I meant CROWS II in my text ... I correct it !
Thank you for the question !
In your picture is the CROWS (the old), who is use normally on my type of M1114. The CROWS 2 is mainly use on M1151 or M1114 with Frag 5 or more.
@ Kuba : 1) No, Blast model provide only exterior part of the CROWS (I modified the support), I scratch the intérior elements (screen, joystick, a connection box on the roof and wires)
I was inspired by pictures of a CROWS 1 and 2. (If you want, I post pictures )
2) No, I haven't really reference for cables connections of CROWS, I based on photos and my feeling ^^
Thanks for replies !

This one should be OK for the XM101 :
Another one (from dvidshub.net where a Hi-Res is available)
and this one shows the monitor screen of the CROWS II (in a MRAP) :
