After an abortive attempt to do this the other day, i''ve now got the correct images...
This is Tamiya's latest and arguably most hoped for releases in 1/35th Scale in a long while - The Israeli M51 Super Sherman

Very nice, I have never built a Sherman (or any allied armour) so I might give this one a try

I've read the review on PMMS and it's quite so, so kit. The best part of it being just the fact this version wasn't covered before.

This one is different from the one I saw on PMMS, that was a review for the M1 76mm version, this one is the M51 upgunned (105mm) version. Academy and Dragon did a version of this kit, I wonder how this compares? From what I remember, those had muzzle brake size issues. The tamiya looks about right?

You're talking a Review of 35322 NOT 35323 (the latter being the subject of this News item). It isn't scheduled for release until December 2011...
This is precisely the same mistake I made the other day when I took off the News Report...

I really got to have one of them,I just hope we don't have to pay an arm and leg for one.The recently released Super Sherman was reasonable at $41.20,hopefully this will be in that range.

Great news Jim and great information you provided. It sure is nice to see a news item with an available release date included.
Excellent and very helpful for anyone planning their model purchases.

I'd buy it right now, even having done the Academy kit a couple of years ago, given Tamiya's rep for well-engineered kits.
Plus, I'm thinking of the kit-bashing potential.......
