I'm in the build process of a Revell P-47 T-bold. I'm trying to apply a black wash to the engine and interior of the cowling. I have painted and then coated the surfaces with
Future. First i tryed to mix Turpinoid with acrylic paints but the flow of the wash was not "FLUID", is looked chunky. I washed it off with water. Then tryed the wash with the Turpinoid and an enamal, the mixture looked better but when applyed the wash was still looking chunky.....
What's going on here???
Is the process I'm using wrong -OR- is it maybe my paint are old?

Turpenoid is designed to thin oil paints, like Windsor & Newton artists' oils. It won't thin acrylics much better than water will thin oils. Try making a wash with the turpenoid and some oil paint (very little paint required, mostly turp).
