I like the way you are going with the weathering here Dave- what are you using to do it?

Thanks Karl I'm using oils and AK for the weathering and I think that I'm starting to get us to using them
Thanks Dave

Dave,
Your T-62 is coming out great! I really like the damage and candid look from the missing fender section.
Can't wait to see this next week at the meeting.

Dave- really nice to see this finished mate, well done! I particularly like the way you have finished the tracks, the weathering on them is great as is the finish on the wheels- especially the oil stains. The bare metal on the turret hand-rails is good too and the ammo boxes are really well painted and finished.

Dave your groundwork looks really convincing
If i were you I wouldn't use dark washes
With a selective drybrush I'd lighten up a bit the rocks and i'd add some dry grass and maybe one or two shrubs
Look at Golan pics, they usually are more exhaustive than lots of words
anyway, your job it has been getting outstanding
Congrats

Yeah, as you can see in Mauro's pics I reckon you have the right ground color Dave, just a bit of drybrushing for the rocks and some bits of scrub grass would finish it off very nicely.

Very, very nice, Dave!
After all of your hard work, basing your T-62 was a good call.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this at our AMPS meeting next week!
'Til then, Happy Modeling!

Hey Dave,
T-62 looks GREAT and so does your base. I'd add some washes to it, this always adds that real look to it. Can't wait to see it up close. GREAT JOB!

Looks great, Dave!
I'm sure that you saw the track that had jumped the drive sprocket, but since you used the Fruils, I'm also sure that will be an easy fix (if you haven't already done so).
You might consider airbrushing a little straw-color onto the green short grass patches or maybe drybrushing them with some tan-ish yellow ochre. They contrast pretty harshly with the rest of the dry high desert look.
I'll really be looking forward to seeing this at the AMPS meeting tomorrow!

Good looking build, very nice diorama and interesting camo-scheme!
Your next build could be Trumpeter´s T-62BDD, which should come in May.
greetings...
