Really nice work Rafal. I'm not sure about the frame on the cutaway of the tunnel- does it take away from the visual balance of the piece?

Thanks.
Maybe a little, but I got the idea after gluing the wall to street.
It's not bad, enhances visual crowd in the channel storm.
For uninitiated
The photo is not me, it illustrates in what position they had to move:

Knowing the history of the Warsaw Uprising and having grown up in the Polish youth scout system from age 6 when I was a cub scout (Zuch) all the way until I had my own troop when I was 18, this topic is very close to my heart. I cannot wait to see how it turns out.

Hey Rafal, great to see another of your masterworks in progress. Looks like a very interesting and engaging scene with plenty to see even at this early stage.

Hi Rafal. Its already looking like another treat. I like the composition of your figures with the little boys keeping an eye out and the guys snaeking underground.
I think the street lamp is too big for the scene though ... is it the photographs or is it really supposed to be this big? In the image below it almost looks as big as the figure!!

You've certainly added a great deal of color interest to the scene. I really like the cobblestones- very realistic looking. The posters you've added too bring a great deal of interest to the wall and I think that will draw the viewer into and along the scene- I just think that white poster on the upper right looks a little too 'clean' in comparison to the others but perhaps it is supposed to represent a newly pasted up poster?
As always Rafal this is inspiring work.

Your dio tell us a story and this story is a thriller!.
We can't avoid to be worried about the destiny of these children !
Moreover you've done a great job with walls and cobblestones
Thanks a million for sharing

Truly inspiring Rafal. Another crowd pleaser. Sets me to start work on some of the vignettes I've been putting off.

WOOOW,
i love the dios which tell a story like yours, like said above we must worried for the children, wearing the insurgents armband and tearing up a nazi poster, as well for the insurgent waiting with a panzerfaust, not really usefull for a close man to man fight...and what about those underground...???
And the painting work is magnificent !
Great dio !

RJ: very nice scene and well executed in your usual manner. Great to see.
My only comment is that the gate hinges are wrong. The side going to the wall should be below the side going to the gate, lest the gate fall to the floor and not be able to swing. Minor point though in a fantastic diorama. Great job.
