A very good kit. My only upgrade was replace the barrel with one from RB Models.
I'm still learning about wheatering and chipping, so I don't really know if its well done or not. I will appreciate a lot any kind of commentaries and advices

It truly is a very enjoyable kit,I did that one and their new Jagdtiger, great kits.
I really like yours, the chipping looks good, only thing that you might want to do is show more bare metal on the surface of the road wheels that contact the tracks. Also those kit tracks look terrific, would have thought they were Friuls.Weathering looks good, not over done.

Edson, one beauty of a beast you made, and you have already a lot of skill, the tracks could be darkened a little, but that could as well be an effect of the background and taking the picture
very cool, and welcome to this forum

Hey Edson
Welcome here!
...the good...
I love the color you used. Its not to dark.
The machinegun looks great!
Your ruststeaks are good.
Smokey barrel is good. Not to much, they also clean the barrel once and a while...
Wash is also nice.
...the bad...
Your tools look a bit to new... Your right with the woodcolor. I use a sephia wash to finnish the woodlook. The metal of your tools are to silver. I use black brown mixed with a small bit of grey green (i use vallejo colors) to make a "weatherd" look.
Your tracks look a bit to grey. I think you drybrushed the tracks a bit to much silver...less is more in this case (even if the tank was driving on a cobble stone road).
This is how i make a towing cable. I paint the cable black brown. Then i paint the the ends of the cable in the color of the tank. To make the tear and wear, i cut a small piece of sponge and dip it in the black brown color. Sponge the most of the paint on a piece of paper to the point its almost dry. Now you push it gently on the ends with the tankcolor and stop when it suits you...
...the verdict...
Well, its a bit hard to call it a verdict, every one has his "style".
Its good Edson, its good
Regards,
Remco

Remco, you are deadly right with your observations!
I will spent some time to re-work the pioneer tools and tracks.
I'm learning... I'm learning...
And thanks to the other guys for the comments too.

Hey Edson,
Don't rework your build now. Its quite oke and above averrage.
My first tank (tank no. 73 in my gallery) is also averrage. When i grow in the hoby its always nice to look at it and keeps the mind working and thinking how i can do it better. The next model is always better than your previeus model...
Be proud on your archievements and look over the sholders of the pro's here. Don't be shy to ask them questions, thats why we all here on this site for. To help and learn...
Looking forworth to your next build... Be proud!
Regards,
Remco
