I currently use a fluorescent light in my spraybooth, mainly because it puts off little heat. But, it has a tendency to washout the colors and makes it difficult to know how the paint shading and details are progressing, without carrying it outside to look.
Does anyone have any suggestions for lights, that won't cost a fortune? I have been considering using a fishtank bulb as they are fluorescent, multi-spectral, and show colors well. Just interested in finding out what other modellers use. Tanks and happy modelling.

Hi Steve

I use a lamp with a "daylight" bulb, which gives a more accurate idea of colours than tungsten (yellow tint) or fluorescent (green tint) lighting.

That said, I still don't think it's any substitute for daylight....

All the best
