This diorama started because I was raffled to this Miniart wall a "meeting of modelers."
As I had the Horch, joined a few more pictures and decided to build this scene happens at the beginning of the German invasion of Poland in 1939 .
Please give your opinions.
Still missing two figures to paint and I add to this scene. The driver of the Horch and another soldier opening the door on the other side.
regards,
Rodrigo.

Hi Rodrigo
Gates seems to be your favorite diorama subjects
Anyway, great job indeed. I have just some doubts about the Hitler youth figure. Hitlerjugend were sent in Poland during the invasion but I don't know if they operated with common troops. Looking at your dio and noticing that figure I thought it was a German scene depicted not a Polish one
Just my opinion anyway. Your job looks incredibly good and the figure standing near the motorcycle is amazing
cheers

Pretty good so far. Nice use of the wrought iron for a gate, gives me a new thought now besides the balcony.

Hi Rodrigo
Mauro is 200% right about Hitlerjugend, it is rather street in Germany (before air raids ) than in Poland. Take look at different photos from WW II in Poland and in Germany
Look at this photos from Warsaw during war and uprising.

IMHO the sidewalk is too narrow for this lamps and you should put some trees behind the wall, or maybe some resistance fighters behind the wall ? Maybe some resistance slogans on the wall to ?
Check this mastebox sets

Thanks for the comments Mauro and Ascari.
I think I'll have to change the name of this diorama
Ascari, what do you suggest I do to get this right? (narrow pavement).
I'm thinking of taking off the kits and redo this street or change these light poles.
What do you think?
Again, thanks for the comments.
Sincerely,
Rodrigo

Hi Rodrigo
IMHO easiest way to solve this problem will be to cut this conical bases of lamps, and move it towards the street...
Cheers

Hi Rodrigo,
That's a nice little dio you've got there......, but what does come to mind is what's the story??
A good dioama, no matter how small should tell a story, or even better have little sub-stories going on. I agree with Wojtek about perhaps having some resistance hiding out, or some interactions between the Germans and the civillians. Someone stealing equipment out the back of the Horch whilst the Germans are being distracted maybe.....? Just something to add a little extra interest.
Good job though, I like the attention you've given the park/garden behind the wall!
SIMON.
