I used the dried roots.
First, dip the roots in the glue paste, then sprinkle tea powder onto them, that's what i did

NICE! Very nice! I have one of these lined up for the Panther Campaign but using the AA turret.

I like your use of colors instead of a hard edge camo paint scheme. Ever thought of entering it in the Dragon model of the month contest?
