Hi guys,

this is my Israeli-diorama finished one month ago. I used Academy kits for the vehicles and tankers, from Kirin the IDF infantry set and from Toy-in.com resin palms and a single camel. The diorama base is my own creation, also the road. Only static grass was bought extra to make this diorama become true. I don´t know much about IDF army, so I hope you like it and that you can forgive me my mistakes.

Hi,

Your diorama is looking very good, especially the Merkava

How did you do the anti-slip on Merkava?

overall a really striking scene and lots of nice touches throughout. i appreciate the time it took to make all the pieces and complete this diorama so a big "hurrah" from this modeler.

may i make a small suggestion? using pigments or chalk pastels, add some sand coloured dust onto the road's sides. this might unify the colours of the scene as wind will blow sand onto the road and it will blend the groundwork a bit better.

it just seems a tad too hard of a break between the clean road and the sandy terrain. just a small suggestion to an otherwise splendid job. cheers, bd.

Very nice. If you have some 35mm film negatives, you can cut them in small rectangles for the periscope lenses. Makes them look real if you can find some greenish in the negative film, then glue them to the outside and inside periscope glass. GROG

Hi,

How did you do the anti-slip on Merkava?

Hi Cagkan,

I used a special sand for creating the anti-slip. This sand is being used in glass bead blasting. You can use extra strong hair lacquer or much better glue for building model railways to fix the sand.
By the way, I´ve sold my complete Diorama on Ebay, some three weeks ago.
