Penkala,
Go to www.google.nl and search for something like "Carentan"+"1944" ..... this comes up with things like :
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/sisbill/armymaps.htm
http://www.6juin1944.com/assaut/aeropus/cartes.html
http://search.eb.com/normandy/week2/invasion.html
there's plenty more of it out there .... Happy Hunting !

Keenan,
hehe...I was quite surprised this came up right away ... I have been looking for these sorts of maps for the arnhem area (Market Garden operation), but without luck..... And with two simple words like Carentan and 1944 .... hehe yep...it caught me by surprise too.

Again - "google.com" to the rescue... first, it depended on the time of season.... spring, summer, and fall patterns were all different... here is a website that has good photos of a variety of German (and Allied) uniforms that are created for the Dragon Large Scale soldiers... pretty accurate. The Fallshimjager unis are towards the bottom third. Hope you find it helfpul...
