Didn't we just have a "Sniper 2" campaign ending in August?
But with all the new sniper figure releases, why not have a "Sniper 3" campaign?
I always wanted to join the Sniper campaigns. Would Sci-fi and wargaming snipers qualify?

You may want to request for this to be hosted by Historicus Forma if you intend this to be a figure oriented campaign.
I would encourage you to include WWI - Modern Day if you want to limit the options. This campaign would be very interesting if it included all time periods an additions to sci-fi/fantasy.
I think it is a good idea to allow other elements such as transport and teams as you suggested.
No reason you can't run this as "Sniper 3"

As you are allowing transports it would need to be 6 months minimum, and running it on HF also sounds like a good idea,

Dan contact Gary who runs the campaign area as he is the best man to talk to about anything campaign related. I also advise you read the threads he started called "Armorama Campaigns" and "TUTORIAL: For Campaign Leaders" as they will help you.

I don't think the quota is as high on Historicus Forma if you are interested in having this campaign hosted there. Just a thought.

I'd be interested...credit card sized vignette to show off a Barrett .50 from the Academy IED Humvee kit. It just looks mean even in 1/35
Or a Sci-Fi one: of course you won't be able to see him as he'll have a cloak of invisibility ;-)

I would be interested too even though I have a military sniper set, not Sci-fi. Nonetheless, I would open it to Sci-fi and Fantasy anyway.
I also agree to host in on Armorama compared to Historica Foruma just to get more enlistees. Or have the Sci-fi/Fantasy section gallery on MGeek or Historica Foruma and the military portion gallery on Armorama.

Dan, have you posted a thread in Historicus Forma to invite members from there?

I've been watching this thread. It's piqued my interest, even though I'm not a "figures" guy and my scenery needs improvement.
I like Sean's idea of a small vignette, and other people who suggested sci-fi makes me think I should go over to the local "Gamer"-themed hobby shop and see what's there for ideas.
Count me in.

For a HM campaign you only need 5 and as its figure based that is the best place for it. Also because HM needs more campaign and Armorama is always pretty solid with campaigns. Which is a good thing.
I'm in. Either WW2 or Sci-Fi sniper for me.
