Hi All,
Anyone know if there is any kit (1/35) of the MTVR, in particular the Mk23?
Regards

Trumpeter has supposedly had one in the works for a few years now, but it has seemed pretty much dead since the original announcement.

This is the pic of the master done by Trumpeter which was posted here a long time ago.. but for some reason.. it hasn't been released yet.. and no news of a release date. Maybe they'll surprise us one of these days

Yeah, I posted that one here and on "the other site" but all I've heard from them are promises. I have no idea what the holdup is.

Like many, I was very pleased about the fleet ot of modern trucks when first announced, & can't wait to get my caggy hands on the new Trumpy Hard-Top Defender Landy...
But when the first 4x4 hit the UK market it's asking price was close to UKP£45.00 (USD$72.00) & is still close to UKP£40.00 (USD$64)
for comparison, the HobbyBoss AAVP7A1 with EAAK & Interior was UKP£30.00 (USD$48.00)
Arguably the Trumpy 4x4 version was over-priced, at least here in the UK, which probably had an effect on sales, & therefore the availability of follow-ups.
Still want a couple though...

I don't understand why Trumpeter has marked up its Modern Trucks...the LMTV is still really big bucks and well its a pretty horrible kit when it comes to interior detail, esp when they are asking $70 bucks for it!
I managed to get one on Amazon for $40 bucks (even free shipping!) for a Special Forces LMTV..which is going to break the bank when I get the Pro-Art conversion stuff for it.
