I believe this is the Alabama Slammer Guntruck that was reported on here a couple months ago...looks like it got taken out already though!

Here's a dio idea from that same webshots account. I have seen the Bush & Co. tank several times and here is the perfect way to use that new Archer Fine Transfers Barrel names set.

This one will be a fun project to build. Although they are spending a lot of time on one vehicle when they can harden several trucks in half the time. with the armor box type.

Funny about this timing. I have a scrap 113 hull and top plate laying about from some scrap eBay buys. And there is a M-35 in the closet.......

Just note that the truck on the picture is not M35. It is M800 series 5-ton truck. Slightly similar to M35, but also significantly different and bigger.
Here is an example picture of unmodified M800 truck:

Pawel,
Thanks for the correction on the truck. Bummer that there is no M8xx available in kit form.

This truck is easy to convert. You can use the M-35 cab and lengthen it . I try to draw up the plans and post them soon. This one is easier than the M-54 conversion. The 800 series nose is rounded like the m-35's. It looks something like an M-35 on styroids.

Found another gun truck at:

seems like the black plates are armor.

...Easier than the M-54 conversion you say!?! Please....post away animal! I am presently working(longterm project...sorry) on a GT that I've procured the Real Model's resin cab conversion for. It is still 'viable' tho, my scratch-building talent's are growing by leaps and bounds because of it.
Anyway, I would love to build these interesting GT variant's (fit them in as I can type of thing), and would love the input. I DO have to interject here.....our very own 'GEM', Gunnie has already been extremely helpful (in the past) regarding GT's....hence my foray into attempting them. Since Gunnie think's so highly of you and your talent's I would be honoured if you'd include me in your PM parade regarding the '800 easy' conversion (heck, I didn't even know there was such an animal......pardon the pun!).
Thx in advance,
Tread.

I'm a drafter by trade. If I could get my hands on the parts that needed to be drawn, it would only take a few evenings to draw it up in 1/35 scale.

Excuse the dumb question, but as a novice regarding US softskins, can someone please put into simple terms exactly what vehicle the guntruck is based on?I seem to be getting a bit confused, is it the M35 or what?

As soon as I get the present project finished I will start to convert the M-35 to M-800 series. I will take pics of the process and give you all the measurements of the conversion.
Matt, I not sure what you will need, if you will e-mail me I will work with you to make the plans.

Tread your swelling my head here. I will post the progress on this forum. I am trying to figure out how to make a presentation of the different conversions that I do. I think that I might be able to have Matt help me with the postings. If he will help I will send the pics and info to him and he could clean it up so to speak and post it here on our site.
