Hi

Finally finished this has been a marathon build.
This is the SKIF T-80UD with a SP Design T-80U conversion.
This perticular conversion were bought some time ago and I believe the
SP conversions have been updated and are better nowadays.
On my old conversion there were a LOT of air bubbles to fill.

I've added a lot of parts besides the conversion; a new AM barrel, MasterClub
wheels and tracks, lenses, antenna, metal wires, plasticard, decals and other
things thad I've forgotten along the way.
The figure comes from Tank.

The kit were painted with Gunze acrylics and Humbrol enamels and were
weathered with oil paints.

A mean looking tank indeed.

Finally some in the works photos;

See you later
/Tomas

Very nice work. I like it a lot. All that work you did shows very well.

I agree that the newest SP Designs conversions are a LOT better than what you had...and you pulled it off very well. You had the solid turret, right? That is from quite a while ago. Wow.

I like how you did the tracks especially.

Very kind words from you my friends, thanks a lot!

Jacques: Yes, solid indeed.

Unbelievable, for a Skif kit! This turned out great! After having tried my hand at a few of their kits, I've chalked them up with Hobbycraft. This build shows mastery of working with plastic.

Thank you very much, nice if I can inspire someone.

Rick: I would'n mess with him in a dark alley either.
The figure is from the russian brand Tank, expensive but very nice figures.
I used the "T-35054 Russian modern tank officer" and replaced the head with
one from "A-115 Russian heads #2".

Wow...I have to say this is without any exaggeration the best work I have found on this particular model up to date!!! Very nice painting techniques! And those track and wheels set from MC made their job scoring 10/10!!!

Your work is very realistic. The T-80U is one of my future projects. I gather you consider the Skif model the better basis?
