Is there a difference between the engines of the T-34/76 and the T-34/85?
Because I am building a Dragon T-34/85 and I need a engine.
And I found this one by Verlinden but, It is for a T-34/76.
Can I use it for a 85?

This one is sufficient for a 85. It has the later "cyclon type air filters.

Hey Tim,
There is a more friendly and economic Solution to your problem. Buy the afv club kit. You then have a full interrior and some spare parts. If you buy the same in verlinden, you have to spend about a 100 dollar insted of 40 for a whole tank.
Just a idea...

I second that. at the same price you would have another T-34 and an engine for your DML kit
Otherwise you could scratchbuild the engine
Anyway, as far as I know, there were no differences between T-34/76 and T-34/85 engines

Ah, i see i made a small mistake. It was one round disc... These ware found in model 1940 and 1941. Model 1942 had the newer style engine layout.
Thanks for the nice photo's Mauro!

Both early and late engines are available in resin and PE from Armo available at jaddarhobby.pl. I'm sure there must be some good Verlinden products - I just haven't found any yet
