This M1070 is fitted with the CPK (Crew Protection Kit) armored cab and stand-off armor plates have been fitted to the cab doors. In other examples, there are 2 plates instead of 3 and the support struts appear to be different :

What Frenchy said....
If you are looking for more information on the M1070 and the trailer it pulls, the M1000, please ask. The M1070/M1000 is a Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) used mainly to move heavy vehilces - the Abrams tank, Bradley Fighting Vehicles (BFV). Can carry other vehicles as needed. The HET was used in Iraq and being used in Afghanistan. I finished a computer assisted (wargame) Command Post Exercise (CPX) with a unit that had a HET Company under its command in September.
