I won this at our regional a year ago. Thinking about depicting the Pershing guarding the approach to the Remagen bridge. Mostly OOB effort probably.

I became a major fan of the Pershing once I purchased the Squadron WA book. Squadron blew out a bunch of this series for $3 & $4 a few months ago, so I bought a half dozen or so. This is the rear cover, and my inspiration for this vignette.

Base has been cut for Pershing, walnut veneer ironed on, and general track location references added. This kit of the Pershing has an articulated suspension, so a realistic “sit” should be able to be accomplished without too many issues,… I hope.

Snatching a copy of this book served as even greater inspiration.

I had some Ho track bed lying about, so have used this as a sub bed for my tracks. Bed is held in place with Elmer’s, but ends needed “assistance”.

Can you say too many projects? I saw these and just had to grab them to display along with my Pershing. I’ll never get all these things done. I like playing with the figures though, just like a little kid.

Great idea for a mini dio/build. I'm about to wrap up my little Pershing in Cologne build. I'll be watching this with interest

Thanks guys. I'm going to try and have some fun with this over the winter. Here are two of the Dragon figures I'll be using; obviously still in need of major cleanup. Some of the details are kind of soft; I feel Dragon could have done better, but I still believe they'll look OK once painted.
