Dustoff:
I used those little beads by Woodlands called EZ WATER that you have to heat up till they melt (which everyone else seems to hate).
Make sure you dam up the area where you want the water(I used clay) or it will run off your dio. I painted the plaster that I used on the base and added a small amount of blue RIT powder die after beads melted. I also used a rented heat gun to make the ripples and push it up against shore lines and rocks, it also gets rid of some of the bubbles.
As long as you dam it real good it is easy to use.
I'm making a new dio. now with a truck in the water,and because I'm worried it will melt the model, I'm putting some clay where it sits in water.
