The more I get into modelling the more I am fascinated by dioramas.. especially factory subjects are really interesting for me!
There is a whole lot you can do with this matter... and it mirrors the time around WW2 quite well.. industrialisation everywhere... Factories were often highly important and therewith also subject of many battles.... yay.. lots to model..
I am talking about stuff like this:
Hmm.. I guess it'll be some more time until I will be able to produce such results.. but I am keen to see more anyway.
Now.. do you have links/pics with this type of dio ?????
I would also highly appreciate a scan of the 'Tiger factory' article in the FineScale Modeller 4/2001 (well.. worth a shot )

Wow... that's a pretty darn good dio! The factory is pretty impressive - it takes over your attention. You see all the dark windows and wonder,'what's in there?' 'could there be a squad of enemy troops there?' Mystery. Mystery is interest. Interest is not something all my posts generate...
Where'd you find the pic?
I'd help you with the FSM article, but I just started to get the magazine this year.

I like factories too.. they are so inviting to detail... garbage cans, chains, lockers, tools laying about...
I have one called Defense of a Moscow Factory (as you might imagine... a Russian v German winter scene) that I will shoot to you. Not nearly as large as the one photo'd here, but lots of fidgity stuff and a cool setting IMHO...

Go to this link and check out Frank Ciccarella's "Tiger Town" dio, the same one in the issue of FSM you are looking for:

While you're there, you can also check out some other great models, as well as my own stuff.
