This little sled was a kick to build; also tried out some of the new AK products weathering the thing. It has struck me that the entire concept of an open, armed and unarmored snowmobile/airboat/jeep/whatever is absolutely, completely insane. Bad Santa would certainly want one.

That, Bill, is because you are used to the East Coast terrain. Those of us in MN and Dakota's,and many Canadians, fully understand the logical uses of this piece of fine military hardware and whats more, there are good civilian versions we have used in the past:

before snowplows

2 planes and a snow car

We Norse Men know how to play. Now, if we need to put a MG on that...sure, we can do that too.

Hey!

All you James Bond 007 fans out there should love the aerosan! JB movies have featured numerous baddies over the decades rushing around blasting away from one sort of snow-mobile or another - proof-positive that the insane notion of naked-motor-sled-with-gun-slingers endures! For those who actually think about HITTING anything... "Hey! Ivan! STOP the sled! There's some targets over there!" This, of course, after first blasting off a hundred or so rounds "for effect"

Bill: The aerosan looks really cool! Great job!
