Hi,

I already launched this request earlier on a different site, didn't know much of Armorama at the time..

To come to the point, I'm looking for decent "action pictures" of the US M1070 HET tank transporter. I already got the pictures from Rob's motorpool (Thanks Rob..) Any pictures of the vehicle with a payload are welcome, they are for both reference as to provide some ideas for what to put onto the trailer..

Hi landgenoot !

I posted a few pics on this site aaaaaaaaages ago, and it took me some time to find them, but there's a HET and parts of the trailer with M88. I didn't post all of them, but I have several on print. Not the finest quality : quality is comparable to the one below.

Now, if I might 'piggyback' on your thread as well...........(maybe you modern armour modeler's can chime in), doesn't the designator M1070 refer to the Super HET tank transporter?? As in, the new kit from AA? I would also love picture's of this behemoth. If I'm barking up the wrong tree..........as Emily Laticia used to say......"never mind".

I love that idea of a NATO 3-color with a M1A2 in desert sand for OIF running down the Baghdad highway!

The HET I'm referring to is the Super HET indeed, I should have mentioned..

I got the AA kit some weeks ago at the Euromilitaire show in England and now I'm looking for some info and ideas.
I was planning on putting a M1A2 with the Track Width Mine Plow on the trailer, in a European theatre of operations, but someone already pointed out that the A2 is not yet fielded to USAREUR units, and the combination would be to heavy..

Now I'm thinking to put a Bradley, MLRS or M109 on it, it just needs to be big and impressive Maybe the M88A2 could do the trick...
