Hi everyone
I'm very interested in building a Duplex Drive Sherman in 1/72 and not sure how. I'm pretty sure there is no kits for this option so it would have to be scratch built. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this or have already done it themselves?

Hi,
OSPREY has a book - Swimming Shermans: Sherman DD Amphibious Tank of World War II - about them.
On GOOGLE Books you can preview some of its pages.

Thanks HTH, I was able to find and download the book. It should come in handy if and when the time comes to build this.

Thanks for that Harald. I would love to know how he did that.... Those photos should come in handy if and when the time comes to build this.

Millicast have some US & UK DD Shermans in their Premier range, de-frocked, stowed & skirts-up!
Pricey but very well detailed.

Talking about reference stuff, maybe this earlier thread would help :
