I have just realised that there is another Heller offering over the simple Leclerc:

Is this one also as bad as the other one? It has PE, I have never heard about it...
Thanks a lot!

I may have this one in my stash, but I am travelling for work and won't return home until this weekend to check. I can't see them totally revamping their old kit.
I would hazard to guess it is the same. I would recommend tracking down and paying for the slightly higher priced but still reasonable Tamiya offering (which I also have). Money much better spent.

Adam,
this is exactly the same as the initial one. You just get the additional parts to modify the turret roof and some other details.
As you can see on the instructions pictures, you have to cut out the roof in order to glue the replacement parts in place. Not an easy job for every modeler even if I know you're an advanced one that will not be afraid by this kind of work.
Tracks are simply good for the bin. Use Bronco's instead.
To put it simple, if you want to go with a cheap early Leclerc so it's for you. If you intend to get a Series 2 (T6) so stick to the Tamiya model.
