Can someone help ?
I have Dragon's Nashorn, Eary Version (Kit 6165)
I would like to get a medal gun barrel and Friulmodel Tracks for this kit.
(I usally screw up these two items)
I think Friul tracks ALT-04, 40cm with hollow guide horns, would be correct for this model but I'm not sure. Its very hard to tell from the pictures on Web Sites.
I have no idea about the gun barrel.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Steamer, first welcome to the site. I will let people more qualified than me to answer the track questions. I am sure 50 cm is correct, but not sure about the hollow guide horn or not. Tons of expert here can answer you this, Jrnelson, Paul, Sgtreef, etc, etc.

The barrel, lion road has one made for the new Hornisse. that comes with muzzle cover. I am not sure if the old Judio barrel would fit on the new one though, but I assume there won't be too big a problem.

Its a real nice kit hope you have fun with it.

Hey there...

You are correct... Friul ALT-04 would be the way to go as far as tracks are concerned. However, if you don't want to spend 30 bucks on tracks, you can drill out the base of each guide horn on the kit tracks (that's what I did). You can take a look at my Nashorn in "my gallery" link below my sig picture. I have a few shots of the vehicle in my Nashorn folder. (I used the kit tracks and barrel). It is the old tooling Dragon Nashorn, so the one you have will be MUCH nicer....

I believe the Jordi Rubio barrel you are after is TG-19. That is from memory, but I think it is correct. It should fit the new tool Nashorn quited nicely. Although the kit barrel isn't half bad and the replacement is not entirely necessary.

It is 400 mm (40cm) not 50cm.
