They look like good sets to do '70s (when the reflectors first came into use) to present US vehicles in Germany.
Actually the red and yellow Military Vehicle Delinerators (MVD) came into being in the late 80's/early 90's to help eliminate accidents between the German civilians and US military vehicles. As a Battalion Maintenance Officer in a Germany based Tank Battalion in 1990, no military vehicles, from HWMMVs to M1A1s left our Kaserne with out those things being mounted on the rear of the vehicle along with red and yellow reflective tape and a fuctioning yellow warning light, aka the whoopie lights or RAWLs. If you google REFORAGER 85, you will see no reflective markings but they start to show up from 87 on...
Can't comment on the English.German markings for fuel trucks - they probably have been around for a while, maybe the 70's as Gino mentioned above.
