Here is a work in progress (said progress being glacial in speed!), the Hobbyboss M706. The turret basket started life as an M3 Stuart basket with the base replaced with window mesh. I added a seat, .30 receivers, ammo belts, used ammo chute and a sight. Atop it sits a .50 mount from an M113. I’m using the Eduard PE set for this. The M60 mounts at the radio operator’s position and at the front are made from M151 mounts with brass rod supports. I corrected the interior angles and added bracing to the roof as well as fabric handles, again from an M115. The radios are Verlinden and the radio operator’s station is scratch built. This will be an interpretation of THE UNEXPECTED as pictured in Squadron’s Armor in Vietnam.

Hi Al,

Looks really nice! This kit is great to (super)detail and show off the interior with all doors and hatches opened.
Will you do a base for this one (or a diorama?)
Keep up the good work and keep us posted please, I will follow this one!

Best regards,
Mark

Hi Al

Do you plan to add the ammo chests on the turret floor ?
