Some of what I wanted has been released. Some I don't think I will ever see. But I'm still holding out for the International Harvester 1 ton, a US 37mm anti tank gun, and the 240mm howitzer, with crew and ammo. Maybe the figures for the PTO that Masterbox and DML have promised will see the light of day.

1/35 Scammell Tank Transporter from WW2. Same vehicle as the one Airfix did decades ago in OO/HO, but with a few more details..

* More info from companies, both plastic and resin. Yes, I know there are trolls, flamers, and spammers here. Still, there are USA branches that could do some PR.

* Japanese books translated into English. This has been a long wish of mine...never saw it happening.

* Tamiya to start releasing their small boxed kits again...kits such as motorcycles, ATVs, figures, logistic carts, etc. could fit in these small boxes.

* Concord Publications and their Motorbooks to start releasing more new SOJ and modern books. It's been a while...

* A 1/35 Czech HiLux complete with cab roof turret ring, bed rollcage, and exhaust pipe.

* A 1/35 Tacoma SOF pickup.

* 1/35 MODERN CIVILIANS in MODERN CLOTHING! Gosh, this has been on people's wish list for the longest time.

* The US Dollar to get stronger...really.

more 1/48 styrene figures and armor. A new 1/48 King Tiger, Panther, Firefly and Churchill MKIII/IV. Some 1/48 interior kits. Maybe AFV club to resume their 1/48 line or someone new to enter the market with styrene kits.

Oh yeah, and more time to build them!

For me, sticking to my Canadian roots, I would like to see a Ram II and Sexton in 1/35. I beleive the Ram is available in resin, but costly. Would be nice to see these done in styrene. Also a M113 Lynx would be nice too.

Also, would like to see a retool of the F-101 Voodoo in 1/48.

I'd like to see older kits get re-released, like the most recent Long Tom. If not, just pick-up the product then if there are no rights to it and release it in a 1/35 scale.

What I'm getting at it is AFV's like the MBT-70 tank by AURORA or the M56 Scorpion (since the Ontos has already been released) and I'm sure you get where I'm going with this.

Just some kits that will get some reaction due to the fact they are out of
production.

Oh, and a 1/16 SU-100 too.

A new A2 Bradley with parts to make either the M2A2 or M3A2 and options to do the different upgrades and armor configurations from OIF forward. They could maybe throw in an interior too. Seems like a great project for Hobby Boss after their spectacular releases of the AAV.

And a new Vietnam era M48. The Tamiya one is very long in the tooth.

I'll second the "for the US Dollar to get stronger" vote.
Also, I would like to see a bigger resurgence in the hobby especially from a younger generation and from retailers. There is a way to get retailers to start a hobby section again AND even help the LHS recover and prosper. But it is going to take the weight of both the Manufacturers AND the BIG retailers and some volunteer time from the community. It can be done IF we can get the manufacturers to see that it is in their best interest to cultivate a new market. TAMIYA are you guys LISTENING??
and how about a full economic recover across the world?

Charlie - yes it would be nice to see some 1:72 Dragon figures (I assume you meant 1:72 as you posted in the BRAILLE SCALE subgroup )
Especially modern figures to go with their Bradleys, Humvees, Abrams and AAV7's. But...they hardly bother with modern 1:35 figures let alone 1:72.

* USMC M151 "Super Jeep FAV" (yes, the Kirin one in plastic). I mean we have all the other M151 MUTT jeep versions, why not this real one?

* C.I.A. figure in jeans, sneakers, zipped sweatshirt (or jacket), sunglasses, and baseball cap. This looks different than the PMC figures with vest, T-shirt, baseball cap, boots, and cargo pants. The C.I.A. figure is for cold weather whereas the PMC figures look like they're in the summer.

* USMC Mercedes G IFAV in plastic

* 1/24 guns to be released

* That 1/35 "lefthanded Green Beret" figure to be released

* 1/35 Javelin ATGMs to be released

* New 1/24 plastic civilian figures in 1990s and 2011 fashion from a plastic company that makes architectural styrene products. Most train and plastic figures in larger scale wear fashion from the 1970s and 1980s!

* 1/24 pickups, SUVs, vans, and utility bodies in 2011-era. I don't know why it's so hard to make a plastic van model kit beyond 1980s-era. As for pickups and SUVs, the latest ones I know of are 1997-era, a long time ago.

If we are asking for 1/32 aircraft from Tamiya... how about a Super Hornet and P-47 Bubbletop.

With Hobbyboss on a roll with their line of Land Rovers, WMIK, R-SOV and 110 GS hard top, a few of the 90 variants would be nice or a Battlefield Ambulance.

I wish for a...

# Plastic.. newly tooled & up-to-date M2A2 Bradley
# The British version of the M1070 HETS
# Plastic MaxxPro
# Plastic SF Humvee
# More Pick-up variants
# More modern figures of various nationalities that took part in Iraq and Afghanistan... especially in relaxed poses

Finally.. I wish Trumpeter would release at least one of these trucks that were shown here a few years ago.. but for some reason never saw light of day. This is not an unrealistic wish... I mean, the masters are there

How many times have we written something similar?
How many times came our wishes true?

Joking aside, considering the new Zvezda T-90 and the new T-64 series from Trumpeter, I really hope that 2012 will be the T-72 year

Furthermore I hope it will be produced a new BMP-1 and a new BRDM-1

...but I know it won't be true

I would love to see Dragon release some modern figures as well. I dunno that you can get 4 in 1/72 is you're willing to buy the Diorama sets with the LVTP A7 Mogadishu/Somolia

I saw that episode of Twilight Zone too..
I'd love one, but without the unfortunate side effects
