hello,
Wondering if you guys know any modeling stores that sell diorama accessories in Vienna, Austria! I checked on Google, but I only found three stores that seem to sell models and accessories but not diorama material! Would appreciate any information you could give me!
Thanks’ in advance,

Hi Vladimir,
I'm afraid there aren't too many shops for modelling over here!
There is Paul's in the XVIIIth district, the Modellbaustube in the XIXth and one in Linzerstrasse.
Apparently there is another one on the way out to the A2 (corner to Breitenfurterstrasse)....and that pretty much wraps it up !
Whenever I need something to build dioramas, I order it on-line. So maybe if you let me know what it is you are looking for, I can give more precise information.
allow me to wonder why you are interested in Vienna though!!
Cheers
Romain

If I remember correctly there used to be an amazing model shop in Vienna called The Bunker or 'Der Bunker', however I think its now closed which is a real shame. When I visited there some years ago they had the most awesome selection of aftermarket stuff i'd ever seen in a shop, not to mention draws full of resin figures.
If you are visiting Vienna though, don't worry too much about a lack of model shops, its a simply beautiful city!

AFV_ROB is right about the beauty. Vienna is my most favorite city in all of Europe. There was a figure shop near the Stephansdom Cathederal where I bought quite a few figures. Also, if you make an effort (taking public transportation) and go to St. Polten there is the Zinnfiguren Museum on the edge of town. Lots of well painted flat figures. A warning: I haven't been to Vienna in 5 years so I don't know if my info is current. What ever you do have fun ! Tom

Hi Vladimir,
there´s one quite big store in the 21st district called Superbox. They have reopened about a month or so ago. Check their homepage for further information: http://www.mc-corp.at/
They do not have an online-shop at the moment however. Hope this helps a bit. Besides, Der Bunker went belly up some years ago.
Regards,
Roland

Thanks’ a lot guys for the help, and directions! It’s too bad they don’t sell diorama products, but at least I can get an upgrade kit or some resin accessories (never tried before).
Yup, Vienna is a beautiful and stunning city! Visited it a few years back, actually did a tour of Austria that time and spent a few days in Zell em see (beautiful breathtaking town, on the edge of a lake, with great hiking tracks) in western Austria. Actually bought my first figure set from a small toy store at the corner of Stephansdom Cathedral.
Actually I am not visiting this time, but my parents will be going for the Christmas markets and I thought I might give them my Christmas wish list (with a few directions) ! I am loving the Vallejo paint rack at superbox!
Thanks’ again,

I don't really know about model stores in Vienna, but there's a magazine called Modellfan which you can usually find at every train station and it has lots of ads for model stores all over Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Usually it has about 3 ads just for Vienna.
