Hey all. This is my first build log and this is my first Trumpeter build and first kit with all the fixin's (detailed motor, suspension, etc.). Have a few kits under my belt, and my T-34/76 still fresh in my mind:

I start on a new kit.

Box Art:

Paint guide:

Really love the color paint guides! This the scheme I'll be going with

Engine:

Got the engine done. Pretty quickly, I might add. Small parts though....

Engine parts:

Added more bits to the engine and the transmission shaft.

chassis:

Interior parts:

Pedals and levers put in.

Suspension:

Put on the suspension. Really hard getting the really small parts in place

That's what I got so far. I'll try to put stuff up as I get it done. Currently lent out my camera so It'll be a day or two before I get back on it.

The three tone camo is very eye catching on this. Good work so far, keep it up!

Thanks guys.

I think this is a real nice kit. Good amount of detailing on the parts, very crisp. A bit complex because of all the small parts, but should go together nicely. Unlike other kits, I didn't have to search around much if at all for parts on different sprues. Very nicely organized. Comes with a few PE parts and 5 rubber tires.

I had a tricky time fitting the sides and rear with the bottom part of the suspension.... I had to sand down some plastic to make it fit snug but still had some gaps around the drivers and passenger space.

It is a great little kit with some VERY delicate parts and the engine is a bonus for sure.

Bummer they dont supply the MG... I went out and bought three SG-43 from Tank!

Little update:

My DSLR isn't liking any CF cards so I can't take good pics. It put me off from working on it for a bit and finished off my Italeri Soviet Sherman in it's place. I dug out my old video camera which can take pictures and I'm using that, though the quality isn't great......

Underside:
Painted the under side before I put in the drive shaft bits. The shaft forward of the rear axle was too long and I had to cut it down to fit. Painted the assembly in black but will wash it with some green and do some dusty muddy effect on it.

Engine:
Painted the engine in metallic gray and fitted it.
