Hi guys-
After last nights rambling narrative, I thought I'd post a few pictures of the main culprit in this continuing struggle. These are the shots that I took... evidence that the kit can, if fact, be assembled. I was beginning to doubt this fact.......
Anyway - here he is in all his hideous glory. I still havn't decided if I'm going to hack the gun apart and re-do the sight (probably not).
I appreciate all the support I have recieved.... thank you all very much! You guys are AWESOME!!!! I will prime him tonight, and post pictures of my finishing process. By the way - if anybody has this kit lurking in the closet (TankCarl?)... jet has a wonderfully done Bison II in the track-link gallery... I only wish I'd have seen it before I started my project.

Jeff,
Awesome, simply awesome. If the kit did give you as much fit as you said in the first episode, the end result is definitely worth it. Great looking model.

I have said this many times. "It is not the model that makes a modeler but The modeler that makes the model". And you my friend are a very talented modeler. This is another example of a "sows ear turned into a silk purse".. Thanks for sharing you trials and tribulations on this project. You are the Master of the Bison!!! Three Cheers

LOL guys... You're making me blush....
Thanks for the very kind words. In a wierd sort of way - I am pretty proud of this little model. The compliments coming from you guys really means a lot! My meager skills managed to turn out an acceptable Bison II - what a concept.
Thanks again guys for all the encouragement and support - this is a classic case of a group build helping me finish. Had this not been for the Under the Sun thing - I would have smashed it with a hammer by now!
If we ever catch that Osama guy..... I know what we should make him do..... Maybe this Bison and the Jaguar Sheridan....... torture unfit for any human....
Thanks guys, I'll post some more pictures as I get on with the finishing.
Later-
Jeff

Ooops!! Guess Ill have to withdraw my bet.
Seems to me that youre doing far better than the first message implied.
Can also tell you that I often make the holes in the wheels a bit bigger myself to make sure theyre eveb to the ground. Then wrongly placed arms or offcentered holes doesnt jab you in the face.
