This is my take on the Tamiya MG Gunner. I made a few alterations to it, including changing the MG42 for a MG34, aftermarket head with hair resculpted and various other bits & pieces. Hope you like it. ,,

Looks nice, what scale is this? The bread bag is a little too green in my opinion, but overall really good!!

Thanks Vlad,
Sorry I missed it, it's 1:35. You are right about the bread bag colour though. I didn't realise until I saw the pic! Time to tone it down methinks.
Time to learn photography. My photographic skills rank the same as my brain surgery skills...

This is a nicely finished figure Gary- I particularly like the dejected look on his face and the dirt on the great coat, especially the mud at the bottom- it ties him to the scene nicely. Great job!

Hi Karl,
Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you picked up on the facial expression, the working title for this piece was 'Thinking of home..?'.
The mud on the greatcoat is an old trick, talcum powder mixed in with the paint to give it texture, followed by a very light drybrushing of a paler colour to show where the mud has dried. Just don't let SWMBO catch you borrowing her stuff!

Thats a very interesting way of doing mud, it has really come up well. I think I'll have to give it a whirl!

Gary,
I like your figure a lot !
The facial expression is nice, as well as how you pimped it up with some accessories. Yes, bread bag is way to green.
Best,
Julien
