I've had it in storage but am ready to try it again. I've seen pictures of aftermarket wheels but wonder if they are really better than the kit ones. Also, though I've seen the "yellow leather" photographs, I've also seen one with a gray/brown cloth interior which I believe is probably like how many were made. I'm planning to do a French or German civilian version if feasible.

Recently I saw a picture of replacement resin wheels for this car but I haven't been able to find them again! Help!

I've built the kit and the tyres are rather poor.

Hussar have a reference with two sets of wheels in the same bag (different rims).

Azimut also had a set of wheels, but they're probably OOP now.

Cheers,

Christophe

Hi long_tom,

in preparation for building this kit I did a bit of research on the net and found that the CV 11 as kitted by Tamiya has features that specifically date it as a car that was produced beginning in June 1938. It is my understanding that all of these vehicles were upholstered in a rough fabric, either grey or beige. The seats were quite plain with just a couple of buttons in the cushion and backrest.

I think Azimut offer these seats in an interior update set.

If you want information on what colours were available from the factory visit this site:

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Thanks people! For the record I just went to the Hauler website and ordered update wheels and other parts (and also for the Opel cars) from them.
