Hi guys,
I'm looking for pictures of the M730a2 Chaparral units that served in Desert Storm.
Which units served in this war ?
Either division or ADA brigade level will do !
Thanks !

Hi
Here a few ODS pics :

It looks like unit markings are rather non-existent or at least not visible...
Talking about units, the 3rd Battalion (Chaparral), 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment of the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade participated in Operation Desert Storm.

I have one on the workbench. I want to make it after one in Germany during Reforger. Does anyone happen to have true bumper #'s and maybe pics. Want to do one after 8ID.

Reviving this thread because there's been a bunch of questions about the Chap lately. While 3-2 ADA was a Chaparral unit that did deploy to Operation Desert Storm, they did NOT do so as a Chaparral unit. They served in the transportation role. The only Chap unit that I can find that deployed as a Chap unit was 6-3 ADA. The official ADA in ODS unit by unit history can be found at airdefenseartillery.com. Just click on the Officer tab and then click on ADA in Action and it'll bring you to the ADA history page. You can download the 72 page .pdf of the Desert Storm history.
