Hi all I would like to know if any of the Amtracs were fitted with sand colored EAAK kits as ive seen a couple of models built with the add on armor in a sand color any help would be very appreciated.
Cheers cuny12.

I've got a couple pics, but they were RAM/RS type. I'll get some uploaded when I get home in the evening if somebody doesn't post sooner

You're welcome On a side note, similar pics (sand EAAK + NATO camo) for non RAM/RS Amtracs may be harder to find...

I did my AAVP7A1 non RAMS-RS in three-tone camo, with Forest-green(ish) EAAK
Plenty of pics in the above combi, or even with camo'd EAAK, but even Frenchy couldn't find any tri-camo + Sand EAAK, except on RAMS-RS
Either way, I had a blast with my build (except the tracks! )

Hi Jon
In fact I've recently given a closer look to my big OIF AAV photo file and found this one (also included in Andy Adyns Picasa album ):
The EAAK appears to be at least partially sand painted (or maybe it's just dustier than usual ...)

Hi there
Im onto my second Amtrac the first being non EAAK which is the one I originaly wanted to do however it has worked out fine as ive worked out all the little glitches that I had with the first one , the biggest is getting rid of the nasty gap between the two hull halves and with this one and about two hours worth of sanding im happy with the result and as for the tracks I ditched them in favor of the AFV club set now Im just finishing a few details here and there and ill be onto the paint which I do tend to get a little nervous as my building skills have realy come a long way in the last 12 months.
Cheers cuny12

Not just me then with the seams!
I carefully filled them, then super-glued some PC 'welds' where they should have gone.
Mine was OOB, except some scratched interior accessories
Pity There are only 2 ariel bases not 4 as needed.
