A pretty novel idea, a pre made Hooch. Like the sand bagging a lot. Screens look like the mesh is too large and the roof looks like just plain boards. I would think it should be corragated or some sort of metal. Keep those heavy rains out. I think you have a good basis for a Vietnam Dio here. Thanks for sharing Hugo ! And have a Merry Christmas !

This guy from Portugal started as a recaster and there are still lots of copies among the items he's selling on Ebay.

Mark, I knew there had been a problem with that dude, hence my post. I just didn't have the time to go back and find the thread.
Hugo, it is indeed a nice kit, but if it's counterfeit, then it does us no good. My feeling is that you were drumming up business for a friend, since the one on Ebay hasn't sold yet. Nothing wrong with that at all - just say so, unless of course he is not reputable.

Hello Mr. Robert Skipper
Until today I donīt know this guy is. I talk with him in facebbok and buy the model. I donīt have any friends that produce hobby model, but if I have, I will try to help them do do better models, but this is not the case. My only purpose is share the model with people, because this is the model barrack that I see... This the only purpose.
Tanks again and sorry any kind of incovenience.

Hi Guys,
Im gonna be really honest with you; a while ago this guy from Portugal bought some items from me (www.mecmodels.com) copied them and sells them like theyre his own (and believe me; it really pisses me off, I spend hours and hours on this stuff and he simply copies and sells em and yes I contacted Ebay several times but he just puts them back on).Hes doing the same thing with Verlinden, Andrea Miniatures, Green Onion and several other companies (be sure to watch out for his DVD that holds many scans of books by Osprey, Squadron etc., all illegal copies!!). In the beginning it was only copies he was selling, later he began doing his own stuff and I must admit he has some really nice ideas. The barrack building is a good example; I agree some details may need a little touching up (you may want to replace the roof indeed) but it is a welcome addition to the Vietnam market.
Best regards and happy holidays!
