Hi all,
Im calling this one done! its been great fun.
im disapointed in the throat mics. after building and painting and installing i looked at some references and the cords are completely wrong. lesson learned.
Thanks for looking!

Nice work!! I would not worry about the mics, everyone will be busy looking at the rest of the tank and never notice. ( I did not)

Thanks Gary for sharing your build with us ! As I said earlier that your build inspired me to get this kit to go along with the rest of my Stug Family builds. I've taken lots of notes and will start soon. So, what are you going to start the New Year out with ? Tom

Gary;
NICE StuG! Your interior came out quite well and extremely interesting - and I'll ditto others on those mics... the detail "error" is well - lost in the excellence of the whole thing, and, besides which, you actually went to the effort to put some sort of mics in! Hat's off to you, Sir! I love it! Rather inspirational and I have a couple of Dragon StuG to do, so....! And having the top removable for a display makes this more accessible. I am thinking of doing something like this for a 38(t) build... IF I can actually engineer the "top" things right!
I AM a little maybe perplexed, here, though.... sure would be a real ladyer to have been the radio operator, having to dive back and forth across that compartment!
Bob

Hi Gary. Some great work on that interior ... it looks great. I wouldn´t get too hung up on the throat mics either. The 1/16 scale figure looks great as well. Have you used the airbrush for the main colour/shadows of the uniform?

He shoots... He scores!
Great looking StuG, Gary, just like I expected. The extra effort you put in at the end with the weathering and chipping really paid off. You did indeed bring it all together into a very nicely done presentation!
I also gotta complement you on the figure: very smooth transitions with the shading and highlights on the uniform and very precise, clean brush work on the details. That guy's shaping up to be a winner too!
Happy New Year and Happy Modeling!

Very nice work on this one all around Gary, definitely an interior to be proud of.
We tend to be our own worst critics when it comes to detail work because we "know" all the little quirks of our "babies" as they get built. Like the others have said, don't sweat it and take pride in a job well done.

Glad I found this!
Hey Gary... do you have any build pics of the torsion bars or any advice? I mean A1 and A2 look alike and from what side do they enter?
I LUV your StuG here and the interior looks like a restored (or slightly used) REAL tank.
Any help or ideas you could toss my way I'd appreciate it or I'll end up pulling more hair out that I cannot afford!
