Aloha everyone!!!!

Does anyone know if there is a product on the market that best depicts a local farmhouse in the countryside of Afghanistan/Pakistan? I'm thinking more along the lines of the "mud houses".

Here's a ceramic one from Verlinden you can buy. Ebay might be less money.

Google "1/35th Afghan House" and the ebay stuff will come up a bit down the page.

I have used the Verlinden building and it's OK,but lately I have been dissappionted with their quality.Definately would suggest going with scratch built one.From the images I"ve Googled it looks much more realistic.

Thanks much for your input guys!!! I think I will go with the scratchbuilt option and hope that I take sooo long that someone comes out with a kit of it! Oh and Zon-I would figure you know a little bit about us Hawaiians-6 finger poi is definitely right!!!

Kurt: I'm happy I got the poi reference right!! Also, you could check out the thread "That Aussie's in Iraq" somewhere here in the Diorama section. The buildings for that were 3-4 story Iraq buildings, but the author gave a good step-by-step on how he made the walls out of plaster. Other threads will also help.

Post your progress as you go, we'd love to see and there are a lot of people on this site that can help.
