Tamiya Sherman track on Dragon kit?

No doubt this has been asked before, but I'm still an armor newbie.

I'm planning to do the Dragon M4 Normandy kit as Abrams Thunderbolt V and it has the wrong track (plain rubber block vs. needed rubber chevron). Even though I have the AFV Club individual link correct track, I'm thinking of swiping the chevron type track from my Tamiya M4A3 kit (since it's a rubber-band type and easier to use). I'd save the AFV track for future use with my never-never planned Formations M4A3E2 conversion of the Tamiya kit.

The question: Will a Tamiya rubber-band Sherman track fit on a Dragon Sherman kit?

There, lots of lead up to a (hopefully) simple question. Thanks!

I've done it, used that exact track on an M4 composite by Dragon, works fine.
